Bomber County – awesome tribute to all those that flew in WW2. Lancaster Bomber R5689, affectionately nicknamed VN-N, which was a heavily photographed aircraft used for aircrew training and is now the subject of a life-size sculpture by the Bomber Gateway Trust near Norton Disney in Lincolnshire, UK. The sculpture, which stands 98ft (30m) tall, features the VN-N markings of the aircraft based at the nearby RAF Swinderby airfield.
