Thanks to Ian, who suggested basing our walks from Buxton. Had five nights in Buxton staying at the Premier Inn and three great walks, albeit in the full sun of the heatwave. Probably, more important was the team Ian had assembled, all great personalities with huge experience in aviation.
These were the three walks we did. The day one mileage is about 1.0 mile shy of the truth, due to a momentary lack of recording. Days 2 and 3 were reduced to more leisurely hikes due to the extreme heat experienced.
